Andrew Weatherall Vs. The Boardroom album to be released on 10th November 2008.
The Boardroom is a group of dapper men about town who spend their leisure hours haunting the Boardroom Studios producing aural delights for fans of electronically informed dance floor beats. Mr. Weatherall dropped in and inspired by the tunes he heard twiddled a knob or two and, aided and abetted by the Boardroom’s resident guru, Steve Boardman came up with this marvelous collection. We are excited to announce the latest releases from Chemikal Underground, exclusively represented by Thinksync Music. Jim Putnam’s debut solo project,Mt. Wilson Repeater hits the stores on October 6th and seems to be enchanting pretty much everyone we know who’s heard it. This deceptively twisted, oddly abstract album is an exercise in gentle psychedlia; strewn with curious time signatures and percolating electronica.Mt Wilson Repeater has allowed Jim to scratch the creative itches that have proved hard to reach through his work with the Radar Bros.
Scheduled for a Nov 24th release, ‘Ouliposaliva’ is the second full length album proper from Mickael Mottet’s alter-ego, Angil and his supporting band the Hiddentracks. The album has received mass critical acclaim in Mottet’s native France and features artwork from legendary French cartoonist, Guillaume Long
